Originally the City was talking about having the park ready by Fall of 2004...but after a bunch of delays it was going to have to wait till the spring thaw to start digging - with a new ETA of June....well that deadline passed without any progress at all...things started to look grim...the new ETA was September...but it was already July and still a field... rumours were flying the 4-pad project was way over budget and the park was getting axed...then I was driving by in mid July and couldn't believe it - THEY STARTED! Once they got into it - it progressed real fast...check the pics out...grand opening was set to be Sept 10th...they finished the night before! DAMN!
